📅 - Fastnet Corporation (fastnet.com), a leading business Internet solutions, web hosting and co-location provider, announced yesterday that they will be providing co-location services for WebtrialZ (webtrialz.com), a service of APT Information Technology Consultants (aptconsulting.com).
WebtrialZ is an all-in-one service for the pharmaceutical industry, thatallows customers to run clinical applications and store clinical data fromlocal and Internet sources in one central, managed location. WebtrialZcombines the server hardware, software, database technology, networkservices, consulting and support necessary to deploy clinical trials to theInternet in compliance with FDA computer systems management regulations."Everything about Fastnet fit into our business model. They have productdiversity, flexibility, and quality that we were unable to find with otherproviders. The data center is in a very convenient location, and we feelconfident that our servers are secure with 24x7 monitoring and customersupport," said Peter Bergquist, president of APT. APT says it was impressed with Fastnet's world-class backbone, includingdiverse paths and peering arrangements. Redundancy is very important to APT,as they will have multiple racks housing their servers and substantialbandwidth going to each rack at the Fastnet Data Center.
