Feb, 2002 : Docent Selects Digex for Managed Hosting

📅 February 12, 2002 - Digex, Incorporated (digex.com), a managed hosting providerfor business, today announced that Docent, Inc. (docent.com), a provider of eLearning software and services for Global 2000 companies, has selectedDigex as a hosting partner. Docent is using Digex's Customer FurnishedEquipment (CFE) program, which enables clients to gain the benefits of amanaged solution with equipment they already own.

The Digex CFE program facilitates client migration of already purchasedequipment, matching Digex's product catalogue, to Digex from in-house orco-location environments. Clients can employ a number of Digex's offeringsfor database systems, high-availability configurations and security serviceofferings. Clients can also leverage Digex value-added services that includeapplication support and client services for the technical consultation. AllDigex managed hosting solutions run over the WorldCom global IP network.
