📅 - Equant (equant.com) has signed an $18.5 million data andsecurity services contract with DMR Consulting (dmr.com), a global provider of consulting services based in Australia.
Under this five-year agreement, Equant will provide its Frame Relay andSecure Gateway Managed Firewall services to more than 40 DMR sites in 22countries. These Equant services will allow:
DMR employees to access Lotus Notes and conduct internal researchsecurelyDMR to integrate its SAP, Oracle and PeopleSoft systems into itsintranet, connecting its 40 plus locations securely to the DMR corporateinformation system through a single global providerDMR to lower its telecommunications and data costs for its corporateservices units in Asia Pacific, Europe and South America
For the past two years, Equant has provided Equant Managed SMTP Messaging,intranet and Internet dial services to DMR, and the success of thisrelationship was the catalyst for the latest international agreement, thecompanies said. To ensure the smooth execution of this project, Equant hasdeployed a global team to support DMR technical and operationalcommunications needs.
