📅 - Register.com, a provider of domain name registration, today notified shareholders of Virtual Internet plc (vi.net👉 Total Reviews: 5 🙌 Average Rating: 7.6 / 10 👍 Good Reviews: 4 👎 Bad Reviews: 1 👈 Official Responses: 1 -> ingenuitycloudservices.com), a provider of onlineintellectual property protection, of Register.com's decision to close itsFeb. 1st tender offer for all remaining Virtual Internet shares.
Under its terms, the offer must stay open for 14 days following thisnotification. At the end of this period, on March 27, Register.com plans tohold a conference call to discuss the financial impact of the acquisition. Register.com's offer for Virtual Internet, which valued the company atapproximately 11.99 million pounds, was declared unconditional on Feb. 22and consideration has been paid to those Virtual Internet shareholders whohad accepted the offer prior to that date. Together with shares acquired inthe market directly, Register.com currently owns in excess of 93% of VirtualInternet's shares. Register.com expects to acquire any remaining shares nottendered by March 27 through the compulsory acquisition procedure pursuantto the U.K. Companies Act. Register.com will host a conference call on Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at7:30 AM (EDT) to discuss the financial impact of the acquisition onRegister.com. A live broadcast will be available at investor.register.comand streetevents.com. A replay of the call will also be available on thesites through Friday, March 29, 2002 and can be accessed two hours after thecall's start.
