Apr, 2002 : Dialtone Internet, Plesk Form Strategic Alliance

📅 April 24, 2002 - Florida-based Web hosting firm Dialtone Internet (dialtone.com) said today it had formed a strategic alliance with Plesk Inc., a provider of automated Web hosting software, to implement the latest edition of Plesk Server Administrator (PSA), version 2.5.

PSA v2.5 is a multi-platform software suite that automates Web server configuration and management. Using a point-and-click interface, the PSA enables personnel of all skill levels to perform a wide range of administrative tasks, such as creating new e-mail accounts and managing their own domains.
According to the company, both new and existing Dialtone customers can now add Plesk PSA v.2.5 to the managed hosting solution of their choice.
"Working with Plesk is an exciting opportunity for us and our customers; together we will offer a customer support level that cannot be surpassed," said Alvaro Albarracin, CEO of Dialtone Internet. "The PSA is a great addition to our IBM eServers xSeries, making our managed hosting services an even more comprehensive and valuable tool for our customers."
Dialtone Internet maintains data centers in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Mexico City and London, and has clients in 80 countries worldwide.
