Sep 3, 2002 : Inflow Reports Growth in Atlanta IDC
📅 - Managed Web hosting and outsourced IT service provider Inflow Inc. (inflow.com) announced on Tuesday that it has released the second-quarter operating results for its Atlanta data center.
"The second quarter for our Atlanta IDC continued to be strong and we see even more opportunities for growth in the market," said Mark Scully, general manager for Inflow's Atlanta IDC.
Recurring revenue at the data center for the second quarter 2002 was $975,000, an increase of 51 percent over the same period last year. Total customer count at the Atlanta facility at the end of the quarter was approximately 60, including new customers RubberNetwork, Josan and ProNvest Inc.
Second-quarter EBITA grew to $92,000, an increase of 304 percent over the previous quarter. Scully says the company's commitment to sales growth and expense control as well as a lack of customer churn are responsible for the impressive earnings growth.
Inflow says that since opening its doors in May of 2000, the company's Atlanta IDC has delivered 100 percent availability in Internet access services and every aspect of facility uptime. The Atlanta data center received a 9.5 out of 10 rating for overall customer satisfaction in a study conducted by independent research provider CSM Inc.
