Dec 6, 2002 : BRS Media Launches Domain Registrar

📅 December 6, 2002 - E-commerce firm BRS Media (brsmedia.fm) announced on Thursday that it has launched its new full-service multi-domain registrar, iDotz.Net (iDotz.Net).

According to BRS, iDotz.Net offers a wide range of domain choices, management tools, DNS management and Web forwarding options as well as Web hosting services.
Among the names offered by iDotz.Net are: multimedia domains .fm, .am, .tv and .cd; generic TLDs .com, .net, .org, .biz and .info; and boutique domains .bz, .us, .cc, .nu and .ws.
To commemorate the launch of the new service, says BRS, iDotz.Net is offering .com, .net and .org names for the special price of $8.75.
"We are excited to be offering customers a wide range of domain choices and easy domain registration tools at such reasonable prices." remarked George T. Bundy, Chairman & CEO of BRS Media Inc., "Customers now have a wide variety of domains to choose from when selecting a new web address." Adding, "Radio stations can chose .FM or .AM, video streaming sites can get a .TV and Business sites have their choice of either .BZ or .BIZ."
