Jun 29, 2007 : Prox System Uses SWsoft Virtuozzo

📅 June 29, 2007 - Web hosting control panel provider SWsoft (swsoft.com) announced on Friday that Japanese dedicated server hosting provider Prox System Design (prox.ne.jp) has selected SWsoft virtualization and automation software to enhance its virtual dedicated server service called Dual Stream, available this month.

Prox System Design, an SWsoft Platinum Partner, uses SWsoft Virtuozzo operating system virtualization software to power its virtual private server, which makes the system virtually non-stop by providing redundancy for the hosting system's networking and hardware.

SWsoft Plesk control panel software helps Prox customers more easily manage its VPS because of its greater integration with Virtuozzo through SWsoft's open fusion technology initiative. Prox is also using the SWsoft HSPcomplete hosting automation solution to manage its hosting platforms.

"Prox is already highly-regarded in the dedicated server market for its high level of service and support," says Matthew Edmond, manager of business development, SWsoft Japan. "We will be working very closely with Prox going forward to continuously roll out new, leading-edge services that add value to their existing service offerings."

SWsoft announced yesterday that it launched Sitebuilder 4.0, which includes Single-Sign-On technology.
