Zone Edit offers free DNS management (up to 5 domains), which is an extremely easy-to-use system for domain & email management, redirects, email forwarding, etc. There is an upgrade fee to manage more than 5 domains. Some users report that using the "free" service subjects a certain percent of users to unexpected ZoneEdit ads and banners popping up on their sites randomly, but I have not experienced this. These users say ZoneEdit wants to see all their customers upgrade to a paid account. ZoneEdit may have backed away from this policy due to public outcry, but I see the "possibility" of them inserting banners onto your site is still in their small print. The biggest problem with ZoneEdit is their domain management - NEVER register a domain with ZoneEdit. It is an extremely convoluted system, they make it very difficult to transfer domains out of their system, they sometimes refuse to send authorization codes (a violation of law and Interic policies), and they have no live customer support.
