Piss poor Customer Support
I havent been able to get onto my site for over two months because their system doesn't recognize my user name and/or password. Customer support with WinHost is non-existant. Over a month ago I went through their standard correction process "if you lost your password give us your email address and we will send you an email (if the email is in their database). Well long story short I still haven't got any emails from this Hosting Site. So! my email address isn't in the system either. (God I am thankful I printed out all the site information when I first signed up with these jokers.) I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSTING SITE. I RATED EVERYTHING ONE BECAUSE I HAVE NON OF THESE SERVICES SINCE I CAN'T EVEN GET ON MY SITE WHICH IS PAID FOR ANNUALLY. BEFORE I TRANSFER ALL OF MY HOSTING TO A SINGLE HOSTING COMPANY, I HAVE LEARNED A LESSON WHICH I RECOMMEND TO ALL. MAKE SURE THEY HAVE A REAL PERSON YOU CAN TALK TO ABOUT THESE ISSUES THAT JUST EAT UP YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

It is not unusual for a customer to lose his/her control panel login information, which is what happened here. When this happens customers can use our "lost username" tool and the username will be sent to the primary email address we have file, which this customer did. The problem this customer had was that the primary email address we have on file IS DIFFERENT than the email address he was contacting us from, which is why he didn't receive his login information. In other words, the customer was checking the wrong email address.
On 9/18 (the date this review was written), this customer emailed us, but instead of fully explaining his issue, the customer chose to immediately insult our staff with vulgarities. On 9/18/11, we resent all login information, again to the primary email address we have on file. This customer finally checked the correct email address and according to our log files logged into the control panel that very same day (9/18/11). It is the customer's responsibility to manage the primary email address we have on file. If the customer stops using that email address, then they should login to their control panel and update their contact info with the new email address.
As of this date (10/13/11), this customer is still successfully using our services and still hosting his web site at WinHost.
