I had high hopes for Verpex but the more I looked into them, the more they looked bad. First, they don't disclose what they actually offer. I asked them how much CPU usage is allowed on reseller plans as that product is their best seller. Their chat support responded by saying they don't disclose the information on CPU usage and it can be found on the cPanel after I purchase. This was the first red flag and it seemed like a strategy to not disclose the cons and just trap users. They are not BBB accredited and this was the second red flag. Despite this, their reviews are attractive but here is a catch. As someone who has been into web development for 15 years, I decided to dig deeper. I found that the sites where they had overwhelming positive reviews are the ones where it is easy to leave multiple 5 star ratings from different IP addresses (especially as a hosting company). Keep this in mind if you're planning to purchase a hosting plan from them based on solely reviews. Plus, there are multiple indications they are using an underlying cloud infrastructure and reselling, unlike most household names who have their own infrastructure i.e. physical servers. Don't get trapped by Verpex. You'll regret it later if you switch from a reliable hosting provider. I hope this review gets published by HostAdvice for the benefit of their website users.
