Terremark is another Verizon joke
I have used hosting providers for 15 years. Hostway... Rackspace... AWS... Linode... and a handful of small local boutique colos. Without a doubt Terremark is the WORST provider I've ever used. They failed to deliver sales commitments, the support is atrocious, and the service itself is very buggy and a nightmare to work with. I could write a book on how much time and money my company has burnt through dealing with this turd of a service. The only good thing about my experience with them is that they have solidified my understanding of what NOT to do to a customer. I honestly cannot think of one thing with them that was an overall positive or impressive endeavor. They endlessly promise on "features available soon" and "we're making big backend improvements" but it's all BS. Their sales staff overcommit and there is a gap between technical teams and the business leaders. Don't waste your time with a nameless/faceless company like Verizon. If you want a solid provider you need to find a company that specializes in it and has a genuine interest in technology and customer relations. Verizon's business model is to strangle people and bleed them. Run away. Run very very very far away.
