I've been a customer for over a decade. Service was great. I accept that some restrictions should be made to customers in deference to the greater good of all, and that space should be limited under a fair use policy. Unlike many others I run a number of domains but don't use a lot of bandwidth. None of the domains are high resource. They do reflect a number of small businesses and non-profit/charities which need to be have an online presence and at least one email address to carry on business.
After the migration, everything went downhill. Servage chose to offer its hosting services through their sister company, and the sister company has let them down. Servage is no longer able to offer a service that has a majority uptime. The majority of the time, websites hosted by Servage are offline and the emails do not run through. They are queuing email to have it backlog and then release once or twice a day, but one of my small businesses is legal and requires email services to be consistently available.
Where Servage was once a wonderful business, it is now utterly useless even to an average one-page website builder who only wants one email address. I am unable to archive, download, ftp, or otherwise back up my files because of the downtime and failure to connect to Servage. I have no way of restoring my many hours of work building two websites which are database driven because I can't even export the files and transfer them to another host.
I would not recommend Servage to anyone in this state, and I find myself having to move to other hosting for some of my websites just so that I can carry on business.
