MyReseller Home review #14433 by Bill Collins (colli020@s...) on 2011
MyReseller Home got a negative review on
Bill Collins ( colli020@s... )
The service is OK, with the folks there usually fixing the issue within a reasonable amount of time. The things of it is, I would see the stuff happen while I was on the site, it happened so often. From pages not loading for over a minute (and these were not intensive pages, just simple text with very few graphics), to the entire site being down. But to their credit, when I would get on the live chant and within a few the problem would be fixed...it's just that I got to know these people on the other end of the chat window BY NAME!!! :)
Of course, it is true that you get what you pay for, and I paid $15 per quarter ($5/mo) so I sure can't complain about the price...but since some of the sites were business sites, and not just hobby sites, it made a difference how fast things loaded.
I am looking for a new place to hang my hats, and as soon as I have a new home I think I am going to scoot. The speed issue alone has kept me from working on my own site (accconline.us) -- you will see that it is just a shell of PHPNUKE, haven't even thought about creating an actual site for it, the speed is so poor.
Plus, my invoice was due on 12/26/10, and I was locked out of the account on 12/28 (when I went to pay the bill!) Was it because of "nonpayment," or was it just a coincidence? Well, with all the other problems I have had there is may have just been a coinkidink, but then again.... However, the sites still worked for public traffic, just the cpanel was locked out, so at least that is a small thing in their favor.
Good Luck!
