I have had this terrible experience with mellow host.. One of my friend got "Master Reseller" and gave me hosting account. I started off my journey with mellow host (indianpioneers). I wanted to install IMAP/STMP webmail client, I was unable to submit a ticket as it said, administrator has not configured it yet. I spoke to tech support chat and told him about the issue, they said, under no circumstances they will allow IMAP-SMTP port pass packets and I cannot use google apps with a mail client on the server. When i copy pasted, they feature list and asked him then, why you guys showing it in feature list, he said, buy your own reseller and IMAP-SMTP will start working. I mean, seriously, they will cut off one of their features and then "force" you to convert the plan to reseller. I have shifted many of my sites to byethost and am lot happier!
Tech Support is REALLY POOR and ARROGANT with no signs of "sorry sir, unfortunately, we cannot do it, to prevent spammers" instead it was something like "We cannot do it on this account, buy your own separate account"
