We are an SME development company in New Zealand and we have been using the KnownHost's VPS servers for over 3 years and their customer service and support is the best I have encountered after 20+ years in the IT industry. We had a 1 year vetting process using their systems and at every point KnownHost's service put our current providers to shame.
Whether you are a large enterprise, an SME or a single person operation don't bother wasting your time with other providers - the KnownHost team not only respond quickly to support emails, they also come up with solutions and don't just leave you hanging like other providers do.
When you are running an SME development business you need to know that when something goes wrong or something crops up that is outside your sphere of knowledge no matter what time of day or night it is that there is someone you can contact - Yes we have tested KnownHost's 24/7/365 support and I can tell you there is no difference in response between 3AM or noon (or any time in between) and all through the process we receive updates and are never left hanging.
We also use pro-active monitoring and it is one of the best things since sliced bread - something goes wrong, you are informed about it and a fix is made without having to do anything - sometimes you haven't even had time to read the initial notification before they have sprung into action and sorted it all out. Brilliant!
The other thing to take into consideration is the amount of support - its all very fine have a very fast support team but the number of times you need to contact the support team should also be taken into consideration - this reflects on how good their system setups are and KnownHost we rarely need to contact them about support issues because everything works as it should once set up.
So in short - if you are looking for cost effective services for hosting, VPS Servers and require top level support by a team that actually knows what they are doing, don't look any further than KnownHost.
A 5 star rating really doesn't do them justice!
