I see a lot of negative reviews here for iPage, but to be honest I've been with them for a couple of months, and while it's not perfect, I feel I'm getting a good value.

First: Unlimited space and bandwidth. I do not use a lot of both, but I like to know I will not be overcharged for extra if I go above a certain limit. This is of course not meant to host files not related to the website or to host a big website, it's for small companies and personal websites.
Second: Running time. My previous server was always down, with iPage it happened twice for only a couple of minutes since I'm with them. For the price I'm paying it is acceptable, I'm not the only one using the server after all.
Third: unlimited databases (mySQL) and the ability to use many PHP applications is a plus. I've been installing a chat software I use with coworkers and a blog. My previous host only allowed 1 database...
4- I like the control panel, it's fast and easy to use.

Now the negatives:
1- FTP is slooooooooowwwwwwwwww sometimes.
2- I once needed help and their support staff was useless, they transferred my problem to a tech who never called back. I figured it out myself eventually but this is something support should have been able to do.
3- You have access to pretty much everything, but sometimes it's hidden somewhere on their website (php.ini for example; or if you're using a domain name you own and need the NAMESERVER info) and not on the server. This is annoying, but not a deal breaker.
I don't use their included software, except for b2evolution which I used before and like, so I won't comment on those.
I think that's it. Overall, I'm paying $2.95 a month (when you're about to sign up, close the window, and you'll get a rebate!), I think it's a good value.
And make sure you get your domain name elsewhere, YOU should always have full control over your domain, even if it's more expensive.
