CAPTCHA-less with addon IPV4's
GOOD THINGS:
1. NO GOOGLE CAPTCHA!!! No training Google's AI pictures of bicycles, etc.
2. Reasonable HOSTING prices.
3. Hosting IS NOT a scam (I've lost money to 5 that were, just this week alone).
4. MOSTLY English version of Web Site.
5. Offers additional IPv4 for VPS.
6. Hosting not in California so Linux IS NOT illegal: California Assembly Bill No. 1043.
7. Domain registrar not in California so you may not be subject to California law by being a seller or customer to California.
8. Support in English.
9. Support is NOT snyde. They DO NOT try to snow you with some supposed expertise.
BAD THINGS:
1. Domain nameserver is Cloudflare (in California) but they will let you change that (I use Control D). NOTE: Also select domain "DNS ONLY" NOT "PROXY" to get Cloudflare off your Web site.
2. Stripe makes you take a selfie and a picture of your ID for access to some HostUp.se functions (not sure what). Felt like a criminal. (Starmer thing?)
3. "Dashboard" layout is occasionally less than intuitive (could be a language thing).
4. You'd better know your DNS 'cause there's no help there (except for DNS glue record). It's unweildly.
5. Domain prices are not very competitive BUT they offer the TLD's I need.
6. Reverse IP tool / PTR Record tool? Nope....
7. Still in EU. If California doesn't get you, the EU might.
8. One server is in Starmer's London....
OTHER THINGS:
1. Use cPanel /WHM. It'll let you sail though a stub DNS config (that actually works: unlike Microsoft).
2. If you set up a good, fast, default domain DNS, your Web pages seem to be fast (again: I use Control D for free and it's good).
3. Support wakes up at 4 AM (US Central time).
