Hostpapa is a dishonest host trying to cover how bad they really are. The down time is the worst ive ever know on any host ive used, and a long way from being 99% uptime as they say in their advertising. This isnt the worst thing about hostpapa though, for me the worst thing is their dishonesty. Im not talking here about their false money back refund if you dont like them before your 30 days is up, (you only get part of your money back, they take a setup fee off you if you try to get a refund) A Win,Win situation for them. No, im talking about hostpapa censorship of any complaints you make. Example of this is. i use hostpapa's support forum quite a lot for any problems i have, the support forum is supposed to be a voice for their clients when they are having problems, but what it really is, is a propaganda sheet to make you think hostpapa has no problems. Example of this= Only recently my site went down, so i politely asked a few questions on the support forum. days passed and no answer, even after i had placed a ticket for support too and i couldn't get on my site all this time. Then i made a comment on the support forum of how it shouldnt take this long to get support. Within an hour or two i had email saying they would fix my problem ASAP. 8 hours later they fixed my problem, then deleted all my posts on the problem from the support forum so there was no record of it at all. Ive seen hostpapa take down whole topics of people complaining of the support, or the server speeds, and when people make comment of them deleting posts on the forum, hostpapa delte those posts too. Hostpapa will not allow any posts on the support forum that even slightly says the service is bad. they delete posts and topics all the time that show any signs of dissatisfaction with the service what so ever by anybody. This Hostpapa, is really dishonest of you as a company. The problem with hostpapa is that they are getting greedy and are cramming far too many sites on one server which effects everybodys sites and they dont much care at all. If the site is up and running in the first place, then you can bet that the loading speeds on the whole are unusable. some have tried to complain on the forum, some saying it can take up to 5 or 10 minutes for a simple page to load, but guess what, the posts get deleted as soon as they get spotted by the admin. Some say the price is good, but in comparison to the service you get, it is a rip off and is as close to a scam now as you can get. If you care about your sites and the hard work you put into them, then please stay away from hostpapa.
