NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
I researched for days to try to find the best place to host DNN and Host4Asp was the only one with no major negative reviews and a good many people gave great reviews. I ordered their service in november 2014 but didn't get around to uploading until recently. Our developer felt he could upload and check it out in a matter of a day and within a few hours the site should be up and running again with no major down time. My site is currently down, I'm losing money everyday because we are non profit and receive donations through our website from around the world. My developer has been waiting for a return call or email from them for a couple of days. I have been waiting on 24x7 live chat that says it's "online" for over an hour and tried even opening new chat sessions with the same result. I have searched and their is no phone number to be found so what to do when you are a business and losing money. Also the problems seem big enough that with my total lack of knowledge, how do they expect to be able to communicate clearly enough for a fix using chat? I don't even know where to start thus a need for a real live person and a one on one conversation to get the site up and running. I have another provider that hosts my linux based site that ALWAYS answer the phone with highly trained super nice individuals that help me on the spot to work through what ever issue I have. As a result, I've only had to call them 3 times in the past 10 years. Wish I had known enough to have the site built in the linux based language because I would be hosting it with my other hosting service. Don't use Host4Asp. They get your money then don't help you with getting your site uploaded or running. My developer is the experienced one, yet he is waiting for an answer from host4asp for two days. How long do you think is too long to wait while your site sits off line.
