Avoid this host!
I've been with HapHost for a few years. Before HapHost, they were Host1Plus. First major issue was a server crash that lasted 10 days after a power failure at their datacentre in Germany. They shifted me to a server in Los Angeles but it wasn't long before that server had issues, like email failing and overloaded CPU and memory. They shifted me to another server in LA without telling me and again, that started failing within months. Most recently, just a week ago, they shifted me to another server, this time in Tampa. Immediately, my website stopped performing some functions, like phpinfo() because they had blocked this request on the server and my database backup function would not work. After arguing with them, they increased my memory limit to 1Gb, twice as much as my website had ever needed before and even then the backup function is slow. The CPU runs at 91 to 96% load every time I try to do anything slightly complicated as well so my customers get slow responses all the time. Finally, my website email stopped receiving yesterday and this morning I cannot access cPanel or my website. Why? Because the server has been down since yesterday afternoon. A trouble ticket to HapHost results in them telling me they know about the problem and are reloading the server but it will take hours, not days, even though it is now 24 hours since my website stopped working. I have two accounts with HapHost, one is the Business Pro account so I changed all my working website files to that account (which has 200% CPU usage available) and even then the website backup is still slow. I changed nothing on my website, HapHost changed servers (again) and once more I get the same lame replies that I have to check my website for faults. Look elsewhere as there are plenty of other hosts that provide better service with better up time and faster resolution to issues at the same price than this mob. If you are using any ecommerce website, stay right away from HapHost.
