Europe Registry got a negative review on

I agree with Athanassios, and would like to add my own review:
First, they are liars. They are NOT a low-cost provider. Their price for a .eu domain at €18/year is 50% higher that most other registrars (€12).
Second, they are scammers, even though they appear to do so legally. In other words, they attract you with bloated advertising claims, and screw you over in the fine print, an abominable, unethical practice.
I made the mistake of committing my credit card to them to purchase 3 domains three years ago. Of course, I did not have a chance in Hell of getting these 3 domains since I was not about to participate in the extortionist "sunrise" period, but I did not know this at that time. As a result, none of my 3 domains were registered.
Now, instead of issuing me a refund, they kept my money with the excuse of a fine print clause I supposedly "agreed" to that says they will only issue me "credit" for the future purchase of 3 different domains, and will not refund my money.
Third, they are thieves, plain and simple.
Today, I tried registering a domain through them using my credit. Note that they have kept my money for more than 3 years! However, there was absolutely no option to use my so-called credit! After logging in with my user ID and password and selecting a domain to register, all options available were to pay using a credit card—no credit from previous balance is available!
Europe Registry is a subsidiary of Instra Copr. I would trust neither of those two entities nor the people behind them, and would urge everyone to avoid them like the plague and spread the word about their unethical business practices as well as their incompetence. Countless unsuspecting victims get scammed by them every day, and that's a crying shame!
