Never use Easyhosting or youll be sorry
I was hired by my client to simply remove the domain and move it to another registrar. The client had issues with the hosting, so stopped the hosting but still had a domain with easyhosting. They tried to move it prior and they were sent to easyhosting support, which is really bad. They transfer you from department to department, which takes days because they don't respond in a timely manner, just to get things done.
So my clients tried to transfer the domain out of there on their own, and they couldn't do it.
I've transferred hundreds of domains and I know exactly how it works, but easyhosting does it differently in order to trap people in to sales.
Most people don't renew their domain when they go to renew, until the last month of their registration. My client couldn't transfer her domain in 1 month, so they had to keep renewing it until they hired me.
I had a 6 month window to figure it out, and it took over a month to transfer 1 simple domain. They wouldn't respond to emails in a timely manner (a few days for each email sent) so if you have a back and forth that takes 10 mins, it would take approximately a month to resolve. They wouldn't send the Epp code to the admin email. (they do this just in case your email changes over time and you forget to update it. Then they can lock the domain for 60 days if you want to transfer it)
They took their phone number off their website and they hide it... I went to online chat and they hung up on me twice.... and then took around 4 days to respond to me... each time.
I don't know how a company like this hasn't been in trouble with the law... but I would suggest you stay far away from this company. I think it's probably one or two people running the business and they are definitely doing things wrong on purpose.
