I have recently begun using colorhost for my minecraft needs and can happily say that the customer service provided by this company is second to none, extremely personal and they are more than willing to go the extra mile no matter what package you are hosted on. This is generally one of the biggest issues I've found with other hosts in the past and was happy to see that at least one company was addressing this.
The servers themselves are _extremely_ competitively priced, you get more bang for your buck than anywhere else and even their servers hosted in the UK are far cheaper than any other provider! I have had 0 downtime and excellent network performance.
I would like to give my personal thanks for Kevin, who has held my hand throughout the entire migration and has been in touch with me regularly to ensure I am happy with the service.
The only issues I can see with colorhost is the lack of a power panel and in this particular network only the choice of centos as my distribution, which in the end, were not show stoppers for me.
Although I can't speak for their american servers I would recommend their european hosting to anyone in a snap, this is really is a hidden jewel of a company that few may know of.
