Say godbye to your domains
After using the free service and transferring domains I was hit by the speed. Significantly slower when you pay. Of course, you are now trapped. Be _very_ careful with renewals and transfers I lost domains as AS control panel shows incorrect dates. They say that they have renewed but have not. So control panel says 9 more months to go, no emails to alert you etc and it expired last week. And that is with auto renewal turned on. Customer support is also extremely poor. They assume you are an idiot and give a textbook answer. You have reply several times before they actually read your support issue properly. Fix it? only if you are lucky. Control panel is very buggy. And of course when you can't do something such as pick and email address they don't listen. Do not use paypal as they set up a recurring payment and take money even if you turn off auto renew. Uptime is not so good either. Use a free uptime monitor and see that it is poor even on the free service. Never had so much trouble as I did in the year at Awardspace. Just use the free hosting check the uptime to see if I am right and do not pay a penny, go elsewhere.
