I am currently running a cooking/culinary school website and I want my site to be hosted with a professional host with good uptime rate and excellent server speed. Besides, as my site provides training to students, I require secure protocol so that students can safely access the courses, tranining sessions and any news pertaining to their training. As of this, I require my host to be able to provide me support for SSL. One of my friends had recommended ASPHostCentral.com and he informed me that their service is one of the best in its class with courteous customer service. I then decided to join them about a year ago. This is the summary of the service that I can share with you guys:
- Uptime rate: I strongly agreed with my friends. They do have a very good uptime rate. My site has been up and running smoothly and I have not had a single downtime in the past few months. They did a server maintainance about 6-7 months ago, but they did send a notice to me 3 weeks before the scheduled date. I certainly had a chance to inform my students about the downtime and I certainly knows what to expect. This is very, very porfessional!
- Customer Service: Well, what can I say: One of the best in its industry. Response is quick, staff is knowledgeable, courteous and friendly staffs, etc. Most of my inquiries were responded within few minutes and in case they need an investigation to my question, they always inform me about the possible wait-time. I certainly have something to expect for and I am very, very happy with their assistance.
- Server/Network: I am running my site from Australia and all my students accesses the site from Australia too. Server speed, so far, is excellent. My site's loading time is fast and outstanding. I have nothing to complain here.
- Ability to meet my requirements: As noted above, I need my site to run under secure protocol (HTTPS) + I need an access to ASP.NET 4.0 and ASP.NET MVC 2. They can provide these services and my site can be up and running within minutes. Wow, wow, wow! I never ever encounter such a good service with my previous host
- Hosting price and features: Well, with all the excellent services I received, I believe I am paying for something that is truly worth it. I believe that their hosting price is reasonable with good amount of features. I hate to look for a host that offers so-called unlimited stuffs as I had terrible experiences with them before. I was lured to a host that offers unlimited disk space and bandwidth before just to know that my site was down since the second week I had with them. With asphostcentral, even though they do not provide unlimited service, my site has a good uptime rate. Also, my site does not even require unlimited stuffs, so why bother?
- Control Panel: I believe that they are using one of the world-class control panel system. I can complete most of my things simply by logging into their Control Panel. There are lots of things that I can do directly via their control panel, in which some of the features are new (which I never ever heard before).
- Billing System: I am a bit surprised with some of the negative feedbacks written here. I never ever had any billing problems with them. All their charges are listed clearly on their site and I just have to pay whatever that is written there. Just before I registered with them, I have had a look at all its pricing structure and charges carefully and I also did read their terms and conditions properly. So far, I was only charge on things I should be charged, nothing more or nothing less. I guess that some customers are just lazy to read through all the details on a site and put on the big blame to the host. In Australia, we are educated to read through all the details, even reaching the smallest footnotes and thefore, I have no problem with them at all!
Conclusion: If you are truly looking for a host that provides excellent support in ASP.NET and Windows technology, asphostcentral.com is certainly one to be considered. With its affordable pricing structures, you can be certainly comfortable with the service you get. Prompt response, fast server, knowledgeable staffs are just few things to add and overall, you can be assured that you are paying something that is truly worth it! I certainly have no problem whatsoever in passing this good news to my friends and colleagues and I have no problem recommending their services to you all.
