Adaptive.net is the most difficult business I have ever worked with. They never reply to messages, and they are virtually impossible to reach -- messages to "host master" are auto-responded stating they won't reply. Billing changed the billing cycle without notifying me, the customer. Billing charged for unauthorized services, again, without notification. Now that I decided to leave, they won't release the domain to the new registrar. They won't process payments (I've been waiting for days for them to process a credit card transaction). Adaptive.net never inquired about my satisfaction -- or any matter -- in the six years I used them as a hosting service; yet, while a customer, they never missed a recurring billing. The primary reason I'm leaving is because of high cost and unreliable service. I paid more than twice as much with them than others (today) charge (unfortunately, I didn't look into cost a lot sooner). Additionally, there were times I would wait for days for their email server to respond, yet I ignored it. What a dope I've been for ever getting involved with this rinky-dink, cut-rate, cheesy band of idiots. Warning! Warning! To anyone thinking of signing-up with Adaptive! Horrible service for a high price. Proof of how bad they are? Check out their service agreement (search the web under HostingLogin terms) -- You pay for service ... but there is no provision that they must provide service! What a joke. Avoid Adaptive.net at all costs!
