(3*) 🔧 Services: Web HostingDomain Registration

NutHost is a long-running hosting provider based in Buenos Aires, active since 2003 and clearly oriented toward the Spanish-speaking market in Latin America and Spain. Over more than two decades they have built up a base of tens of thousands of sites and more than ten thousand customers, operating much more as a strong regional brand than a generic global player. Their catalog covers the whole life cycle of an online project: domains, shared hosting, premium cloud hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, plus extras such as SSL certificates, audio streaming, email marketing and cloud storage. Everything – website, control panels, support – is geared around Spanish-speaking users.

The classic entry point is the Web Hosting line (plans like Nuke Lite, Nuke Pro, Nuke Pro Turbo). These plans run on SSD NVMe disks, include email accounts and MySQL databases, and come with unlimited data transfer. Even the smallest plan offers generous storage, webmail, autoresponders, anti-spam filters, MultiPHP, SFTP/SSH, integration with Cloudflare and regular backups. Higher tiers add more SSD NVMe space, more databases, one-click WordPress installation, WordPress Toolkit, Git support and, on the top plan, a free domain and an AI-assisted site builder. The platform is clearly tuned for common CMS scenarios such as WordPress, Moodle, PrestaShop and WooCommerce, not just basic HTML pages.

Above the basic shared plans, Cloud Hosting Premium acts like a semi-dedicated shared environment. Here NutHost exposes guaranteed resources (from 2 vCPU / 2 GB RAM upward), SSD NVMe storage, unlimited email and transfer, remote MySQL nodes, 24/7 priority support and an uptime guarantee of 99.98% backed by SLA-style credit. These plans also bundle WordPress Toolkit Deluxe, an AI website builder (SiteJet), automatic backups and a 30-day money-back guarantee, which makes them attractive for busy WordPress or WooCommerce sites that have outgrown standard shared hosting but do not yet need a fully managed VPS.

For full isolation and more control, NutHost offers Cloud VPS servers. Configurations go from 4 vCores with 8 GB RAM and 75 GB NVMe up to much larger setups with dozens of virtual cores, 96 GB RAM and hundreds of gigabytes of NVMe storage. All VPS plans include unlimited transfer over a dedicated symmetric connection that ranges roughly from 400 Mbit/s up to 3 Gbit/s, with IPv4/IPv6, automated backups and always-on Anti-DDoS protection. Customers can choose Linux distributions such as AlmaLinux, Debian or Ubuntu, add cPanel or CWP and decide between self-managed or fully managed service. This combination of hardware and flexibility fits both developers and SMEs that need stable, performant application servers.

On top of that sit the dedicated "Quantum" servers, oriented toward developers and companies running heavy workloads. These use modern Intel Xeon and AMD Ryzen or EPYC processors, paired with ECC DDR4 memory and NVMe SSDs in RAID, 1 Gbit/s network ports, Anti-DDoS and support for both IPv4 and IPv6. They make sense for serious e-commerce, SaaS platforms and internal systems where performance, customization and isolation matter more than squeezing every last cent out of the budget.

Around this core, NutHost bundles a wider ecosystem: reseller hosting on cPanel & WHM, targeted WordPress, Moodle and PrestaShop hosting, e-commerce hosting, Cloud SMTP, virtual disk (OwnCloud), cPanel licenses, audio streaming, email marketing and SEO audit services. In practice, a Spanish-speaking business or agency can centralize most of its infrastructure and related tools in one place.

The website is in Spanish only but uses localized variants for different countries, including Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Spain. Prices adapt to each locale: international pages typically use USD, while local versions show Argentine pesos, Chilean pesos, Colombian pesos, Peruvian soles or euros for the Spanish market. This multi-currency, multi-country approach fits a LATAM-first strategy, although the lack of an English version can be a real barrier for non-Spanish-speaking teams.

💰 Price & Cost

NutHost positions itself in the mid-range segment: pricing is not rock-bottom, but the feature set and hardware justify the cost, especially considering the regional focus and the included support.

Shared Web Hosting plans for international users start at a low monthly cost, especially when introductory discounts are active. For that price, customers get SSD NVMe storage, cPanel in Spanish, unlimited transfer, email accounts, databases and free SSL. Mid and top tiers remain below the typical double-digit USD range per month, yet add far more resources and tools such as WordPress Toolkit, Git and an AI site builder. The balance between price and functionality is strong compared to many local providers in Latin America.

Cloud Hosting Premium plans are naturally more expensive than standard shared hosting but offer measurable CPU and RAM allocations and a higher level of service. Entry-level premium plans with 2 CPU cores, 2 GB RAM and decent NVMe storage come in at very accessible prices on annual billing, often with sizeable percentage discounts visible on the order page. Larger premium tiers scale the resources predictably. All of them share the 30-day money-back guarantee and the high uptime commitment, which lowers the risk of upgrading.

In the VPS segment, prices start in the lower double-digit USD zone for the smallest plan and grow with resources. Promotions on the first invoice are common, so monthly renewal prices are higher than the stretched-out promotional figure; anyone budgeting long term should pay attention to the base price, not only the temporary discount. When you factor in the dedicated symmetric bandwidth, unlimited transfer and built-in Anti-DDoS, the value is attractive for businesses that need reliable infrastructure near Latin America. The Quantum dedicated servers are more expensive, as expected for physical hardware with ECC RAM and high-end CPUs, but still sit within the reach of mid-sized businesses and serious online shops.

Payment methods cover the usual credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal and, notably, several cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and others, routed through a payment processor. In Argentina, there are also local options such as bank transfer and offline cash-payment networks, which makes NutHost easier to use in a market with specific financial constraints.

Refund conditions vary by product: premium hosting and some e-commerce-oriented offers clearly include a 30-day money-back guarantee, while other services rely more on SLA credits if uptime falls below the guaranteed threshold. For VPS and dedicated servers, it is safer to think in terms of SLA compensation plus troubleshooting rather than a blanket "no-questions-asked" refund.

Overall, NutHost is fairly priced for what it offers, but anyone extremely sensitive on cost should watch the difference between promotional entry pricing and renewal pricing.

🏢 Data Center

From an infrastructure standpoint, NutHost works over a distributed network rather than a single monolithic facility. For shared and cloud hosting products, they have a mesh of data centers in Argentina, Canada, the United States and France. This mix allows them to host many Latin American projects close to their audience while tapping into North American and European capacity for resilience and reach.

The Web Hosting and Cloud Hosting Premium platforms run entirely on SSD NVMe storage and rely on remote MySQL nodes for database workloads. The idea is to distribute load across high-availability nodes, reducing bottlenecks when CMS sites generate many dynamic queries. Premium plans also use LVE (Lightweight Virtual Environment) technology to allocate CPU and RAM per account, keeping noisy neighbors from saturating shared resources.
For VPS and developer/dedicated offerings, NutHost gives more detail, especially about Canada as a core location. VPS servers are hosted in high-availability Canadian data centers, with redundant power and connectivity, automatic monitoring, snapshot options and backup systems. The network is delivered over fiber with dedicated symmetric bandwidth per VPS, which is unusual in this price range. All VPS and dedicated servers come with integrated Anti-DDoS protection and support for both IPv4 and IPv6.

Across most services, NutHost commits to an uptime guarantee of 99.98%, backed by financial credit if the SLA is not met. For certain online-store plans they mention at least 99.9% availability as a minimum target for shops. For a regional provider, those numbers and the presence of several geographic locations are strong points.

The main caveat is that NutHost do not name the exact data center operators or facility brands. Customers in heavily regulated fields or with strict compliance requirements may need to ask support for more specific documentation on the underlying data centers and certifications.

✍️ Customer Support

Support is one of NutHost’s central pillars. They offer 24/7/365 technical support in Spanish, and this applies across shared, cloud, VPS and dedicated services. Standard shared hosting already includes access to the helpdesk, while premium, VPS and dedicated products mention priority handling, with faster response and more in-depth assistance.

The primary support channel is the client area, where customers open tickets and track their status. In addition, NutHost maintains a Help Center with articles, guides and FAQs for common operations such as setting up email, installing WordPress, moving sites or optimizing performance. For real-time contact, they make WhatsApp and phone numbers visible, which is very much appreciated by freelancers and businesses in the region that prefer direct conversation.

Because everything operates in Spanish and the team is used to dealing with popular CMSs, many clients rely on NutHost for help that goes beyond pure server uptime – for example, issues with plugins, basic security problems or migrations from other providers. This level of involvement is an advantage over many global hosts that keep support strictly at the server layer and answer only in English.

🔨 Control Panel

NutHost builds its hosting management around familiar, widely used tools rather than proprietary panels:
  • Shared Web Hosting and Cloud Hosting Premium accounts are managed through cPanel in Spanish. From there, clients can handle domains, email accounts, DNS records, databases, file manager, SSH/SFTP, MultiPHP, backups and webmail. One-click installers cover a large catalog of applications, and WordPress Toolkit simplifies cloning, staging, updates and security hardening for WordPress sites.
  • For VPS servers, customers can choose cPanel or Control Web Panel (CWP) on supported distributions such as AlmaLinux. In self-managed mode, the client has root access via SSH and is responsible for system administration. In fully managed mode combined with cPanel, NutHost’s team takes care of tasks such as updates, service configuration and monitoring, while the customer mainly works through the familiar hosting panel.

This approach avoids forcing users into learning a custom panel and keeps migration paths open: agencies and developers used to cPanel can move in and out more easily, while cost-sensitive users can opt for CWP to save on licensing.

🎯 Conclusion

NutHost is a mature, region-focused host with a clear identity: Spanish-language services from top to bottom, infrastructure tuned for Latin American clients, and a smooth path from small websites up to serious VPS and dedicated scenarios.
Key strengths include:
  • Modern SSD NVMe platforms, remote MySQL nodes and LVE isolation for predictable performance.
  • A distributed infrastructure with locations in several countries and a strong Canadian backbone.
  • A stated uptime guarantee of 99.98%, combined with SLA credit when things go wrong.
  • Real 24/7 Spanish-speaking support via tickets, WhatsApp and phone, which is rare among global competitors.
  • A complete portfolio, from shared to premium, VPS and dedicated, plus a wide range of complementary services for agencies and online businesses.

Potential drawbacks are relatively minor but worth noting. Non-Spanish-speaking teams will find the platform difficult to use because there is no English version of the site or panels. Prices are fair rather than ultra-cheap, so those interested only in the lowest possible cost can find cheaper, but often lower-quality, options elsewhere. And customers who need very detailed public documentation on facility names and certifications must request those details directly from support.

For Spanish-speaking users in Latin America or Spain who want a provider that combines local understanding, good infrastructure and real human support, NutHost is an appealing choice. It fits especially well for WordPress agencies, e-commerce stores, online education and developers who want to scale from a small site to complex infrastructure without leaving the same ecosystem.
