Nov, 2003 : Hostingplex Unveils Upgraded Hosting Plan

📅 November 6, 2003 - Hostingplex (hostingplex.com -> hostmds.com) announced this week that it has upgraded and reduced the price of its "Pro" shared hosting package. The new price is $7.45 per month and includes 1000mb of Web space (up from 350mb), 50gb (up from 10gb) of bandwidth transfer, unlimited e-mail accounts and various other features.

The company said it has also dropped its pricing for domain name registration from $19.95/year to $9.95/per year. The new domain registration price applies to all Web hosting packages.
"This is an exciting time here for us at Hostingplex and we want to bring that excitement to our customers by offering them even more value for their hard earned dollar," said David Harris, vice president of marketing and sales at Hostingplex. "This is a highly competitive market, and we wanted to stay ahead of the game. This is why we have put together exciting new hosting plans that everyone can take advantage of."
The company also increased the terms of its money back guarantee from 14 to 30 days. "We know how good our services are, and it's time that everyone else experienced it too, our money back guarantee is now 30 days instead of 14 days," said Harris.
The $7.45 price point is a promotional price available until November 13. The company said that it is extending the promotion for an indefinite period of time. Customers who register during the promotional period will receive free domain name registration for the first year.
