👈 Official Responses: 0) said today that the New York State Department of Labor has added $52 million to its existing contract with NaviSite subsidiary ClearBlue Technologies Management, Inc.
Under the current deal, NaviSite provides hosting and managed services for the America's Job Bank Web site, a labor exchange network developed by the U.S. Department of Labor and state employment service offices to link employers with job seekers.
The existing hosting and services contract, which expires in 2005, is a five-year deal worth $83 million. The $52 million addition brings the total value of the contract to $135 million.
"Over the past 3 years, the New York State Department of Labor has been a great partner as we have worked together to create, host, and manage a world-class online employment solution," said Denis Martin, senior vice president of corporate development for NaviSite. "We are very pleased that they have demonstrated further commitment to NaviSite by providing sufficient latitude to continue to grow the already successful America's Job Bank initiative."
America's Job Bank receives in excess of 5.5 million hits per week.
NaviSite acquired ClearBlue Technologies in August.
