The facility offers a high level of bandwidth capacity, adding significant power handling capability of 6 megawatts to meet the growing needs of Galaxy Visions customers. Galaxy Visions has successfully migrated all of its clients to the new facility.
"The minute we saw an opportunity to move our operations to bigger and more advanced location, we knew this was the right move not only for Galaxy Visions but all the clients that continually rely on outstanding service we are known for," says CEO and president Ray Sidler. "We have put great efforts in making this a state of the art facility." The new data center can house over 25,000 servers, and is powered by two feeds from Con Edison, which comes up into the electric room. The facility is cooled with redundant air conditioning units, maintaining it at the ideal temperature. Other notable features include a fiber ring around the tri-state, an admin room for clients and a state of the art security system.
