📅 - GeoTrust, Inc. (geotrust.com), an identity and security provider for e-business, announced on Tuesday the availability of Power Server ID 128-bit SSL certificates for securing Web servers.
GeoTrust will release Power Server ID certificates under the Equifax Secure CA root, included in numerous wireless devices, Web servers and browsers. Power Server ID uses GeoTrust's patent-pending, fully automated issuance process, enabling certificates to be provisioned in 10 minutes or less. Additionally, the produce is equipped with GeoTrust's comprehensive warranty and administrative features. With an estimated growth of more than two billion users by 2007, the global wireless market will witness an unprecedented 186 million new subscribers each year. The Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association accounts for almost 166 million wireless subscribers in the US alone, reaching revenues of over $87 billion last year.
