👈 Official Responses: 0) announced on Monday that it will host "Intermediate Perl," a second seminar in a two-part series on Perl Programming to be held on November 20, 2004 in Fremont, California. The event follows "Learning Perl," which took place a month ago.

Randal L. Schwartz, a veteran of the software industry and author of numerous books about Perl programming, will lead the seminar. "Intermediate Perl," designed for those who have completed "Learning Perl," will cover advanced data structures in Perl and show participants how to keep their Perl programs running smoothly even when it must grow past the 100-lines-of-code barrier.
"Perl has become very popular for programming. It is the language of choice in Web development. This seminar is an excellent opportunity to learn more advanced Perl programming or sharpen your Perl. And, who better to learn Perl from than Schwartz," says Mike Leber, president of Hurricane Electric.
