Feb 9, 2005 : Netfirms Adds Plans, Drops Domain Price

📅 February 9, 2005 - Web hosting provider Netfirms (netfirms.com ) announced on Tuesday that it has released its 2005 line of hosting plans and lowered its price for domain name registrations to $4.95 per year.

Netfirms's 2005 line of hosting plans include significant upgrades to storage space and bandwidth, a new file manager, up to five free .com domain names, and $35 worth of free Google Adwords. According to the company, storage space and bandwidth allotments have been upgraded as much as two and five times respectively.
Domain names come with free Web hosting, Web-based DNS management and email, and twenty-four hour technical support.
"Netfirms is committed to providing the tools and expertise small business, e-commerce, blog, and photo sharing Web sites need to prosper online," says Jason Matheson, product manager for Netfirms. "By offering free Google AdWords and full-featured domain names at the lowest domain price anywhere, we are underscoring that commitment."
