👈 Official Responses: 0) recorded the largest monthly gain in the total number of SSL certificates issued, according to research firm Netcraft's (netcraft.com) February Secure Server Survey. Netcraft's data showed that in January, Go Daddy increased the number of SSL certificates it issued by 50 percent.

"Our growth in the SSL market has been strong and steady since we started offering SSL certificates in March of 2004," says Bob Parsons, president and founder of Go Daddy. "Our Turbo SSL certificates - which are issued just as fast as any competitor product, have the very same browser recognition and provide the same level of data security - are only $29.95. This represents a huge savings to the customer and because of the way Go Daddy provides support to its customers, everybody wins."
All Go Daddy certificates - the Turbo SSL, High-Assurance SSL, and Wildcard SSL ? offer 128-bit Web server security, currently the highest level of encryption available.
"Go Daddy's efforts to diversify its line of SSL certificates products have yielded positive results, and made it a very competitive player in this market," says Rich Miller, an analyst with Netcraft. "Sales of the Turbo SSL certificate have been the major factor in Go Daddy's strong showing in recent months."
