👈 Official Responses: 0) announced on Tuesday that it had been chosen by Anheiser-Busch as its exclusive streaming provider for live Web broadcasts and streaming media at the www.budweiser.com Web site.

In selecting NaviSite, Anheiser-Busch has made the hosting company's streamOS platform a key component of its Web marketing strategy. NaviSite has already been involved with Anheiser-Busch's Web efforts, helping to produce and host live Internet broadcasts as well as making video available online, including clips of Budweiser's popular "Whassup?!" guys and Winston Cup Series NASCAR videos.
streamOS has also been used by other companies lately in some of the Internet's biggest streaming events, including Madonna's record-breaking Internet broadcast, and the Mir space station's re-entry.
Anheiser-Busch intends to use streaming media to develop loyalty among its consumers by creating events like live chats with spokespeople. NaviSite says the streamOS platform can help Anheiser-Busch do this by automating much of the streaming process, as well as providing detailed statistics following the events.
Anheiser-Busch says it recognizes NaviSite as experts in the realm of streaming media, as well as recognizing the potential that streaming media poses for bringing the company closer to its consumers.
