(July 10, 2000) The Internet Corporationfor Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced today that elevenadditional companies have qualified to be accredited as domainname registrars in the .com, .net and .org domains. They are:

BlueberryHill Communications, Inc. dba 4domains.com(United States)
CenterGateResearch Group, LLC (United States)
CorporateDomains, Inc. (United States)
DEXTCo., Ltd. (South Korea)
Domains.ca Corporation (Canada)
Equitron,Inc. dba DomainNameRegistration.com(United States)
eXtraActive,Inc. (United States)
HDFCWebNet Services Limited (India)
Hi-TechInformation & Marketing Pvt. Ltd.(India)
HughesElectronic Commerce, Inc. dba Hughes.Net(United States)
PolarSoftware Limited (India)

These new 11 bring the total number ofcompanies that have met the criteria for accreditation to 135.The new registrars will become part of the Shared RegistrationSystem ("SRS"), the domain name registration systemfor competitive registrars in the .com, .net, and .org top-leveldomains. Stability of the Internet and continuity for consumersare protected by the requirement that every business desiringto become a registrar in top-level domains must first becomeaccredited by ICANN. Under the SRS competing
ICANN-accredited registrars register domain names utilizing oneshared, central registry operated and maintained by Network Solutions,Inc.
