The center will open in a matter of days, and features high-speed servers integrated into an OC fiber network.
"The key to gaming success for players is speed, and our network provides that," says Clarence Briggs, AIT's chief executive officer. "Once players come in and try it out, they'll be hooked and we can put leagues and tournaments into motion."
The launch of the gaming center will coincide with a holiday tournament, with a portion of its proceeds to benefit military support groups. The tournament is targeted towards soldiers and airmen, as well as gamers aged 15 to 30.
Next door to the gaming center is AIT's new technology store, also set to open soon. It will be one of many retail outlets AIT will open in cities across the nation. The primary focus of the store is the business environment, where the impact of innovation is greatest.
