👈 Official Responses: 1) announced on Friday it has opened its second bricks-and-mortar IT dealership in Atlanta, Georgia. AIT teamed up with Atlanta IT consultant Dave Stanley to provide Atlanta customers with direct personal customer service.


The new dealership will create about 40 jobs over the next two years, and AIT will be making a seven-figure investment in infrastructure and intellectual property. AIT opened its first branch office in Chicago last month, and about two dozen more will follow by the end of the year.

"It takes the mystery out of technology so businesses can see its value to them," says Stanley. "This is a best-case scenario for customers - the industrial-grade infrastructure and resources of a global service provider and local people with a local address and local phone number for support."

The storefront approach began development about two years ago as AIT's customer trends showed a shift from tech-savvy individuals to sales-oriented people with limited technology knowledge. In addition to offering its core product line of Web design and hosting, e-commerce and IP telephony, the AIT dealership will also include hardware, IT training and security products.
