📅 January 19, 2006 - Terremark's (terremark.com ) managed hosting subsidiary Dedigate (dedigate.com) said on Thursday that it had added media publisher IDG Netherlands as a new customer.
IDG Netherlands is a subsidiary of IDG, which owns and operates more than 300 newspapers and magazines around the world. Its titles include Computerworld, InfoWorld, PC World and Macworld. "In the Netherlands, IDG publishes four print publications, a number of print specials, and eleven Web sites and conducts a number of events," says Raimon Gort, managing director for IDG Netherlands. "Uptime is most important. A partner like Dedigate, that manages the infrastructure behind our Web sites and with whom we can quickly communicate is of the utmost importance." IDG Netherlands will host IDG's infrastructure out of its facility in Amsterdam.

📅 Feb 9, 2009 - Terremark Delays Building in Santa Clara - Terremark Worldwide (terremark.com ) announced on Monday it has decided to delay the building of a data center in Santa Clara, California, focusing its development budget dollars instead on its data center in Virginia, the NAP of the Capital Region, according to a report by Data Center Knowledge.

The company says it is seeing significant demand for colocation and managed hosting services at the Culpeper, Virginia facility.

Last month, Terremark began offering its full suite of managed solutions at the NAP of the Capital Region following the completed deployment of its Infinistructure utility-computing platform.
