In this new role, Horton will oversee the company's fiscal function and performance, treasury management, capital structure, investor relations and supply chain management.
Horton joins Rackspace after nine years with Dell and Dell Financial Services LP where he most recently served as vice president and general manager of Dell Financial Services' commercial financial services group.
Prior to Dell Financial Services, Horton held many finance leadership positions with Dell and AlliedSignal including vice president of finance and segment controller for Dell's enterprise sales segment. He also held the positions of division controller and corporate director of financial planning and analysis for AlliedSignal.
