📅 - Web hosting provider Intermedia.NET (intermedia.net) announced on Friday it is the first Exchange hosting provider to offer Entourage 2004 for Mac as a free download to customers.
Similar to Outlook 2003 for PC, Entourage 2004 enables Mac users to use Microsoft Exchange as their advanced email and collaboration server.
Any company signing up for hosted Exchange with Intermedia.NET can download Outlook 2003 or Entourage for Mac immediately for free. Intermedia.NET is now one of the only Microsoft Exchange hosting companies to allow both PC and Mac users to sign up for Exchange.
"Many industries use the Mac as a standard office computer and wish to take advantage of Microsoft Exchange's productivity-boosting features," says Michael Choupak, CEO of Intermedia.NET. "Now that Intermedia.NET offers Entourage as a free download, companies using Macs can sign up and get started with a cost-effective hosted Exchange solution in a matter of minutes."
