Pouyan IT launches colocation services in Iran and the Netherlands

Pouyan IT, an Iranian hosting and cloud infrastructure provider founded in 2016 and based in Hamadan, has expanded its infrastructure line-up with a colocation service offered from two locations: Iran and the Netherlands.

The service lets businesses place their own server hardware in standards-compliant, physically secured datacenters and hand day-to-day facility operations to Pouyan IT. Customers receive stable and redundant power, a high-speed network uplink, physical site security, continuous monitoring and access to the company's technical support team. Capacity is available from a single rack unit up to a full rack, so the service suits both a single appliance and a complete platform migration.

The Iranian location is aimed at organisations that need low domestic latency and want their equipment to remain inside the country, while the Netherlands location gives customers a European footprint with international connectivity. Entry pricing starts at 70,000,000 IRR per month for a single rack unit in Iran and 197,410,000 IRR per month for a single rack unit in the Netherlands. Full-rack configurations are quoted individually, and the support team handles consultation, pricing enquiries and service requests.

Colocation joins an infrastructure portfolio that Pouyan IT has been building since its launch in 2016. The company operates shared and reseller hosting on cPanel, DirectAdmin and its own in-house control panel; download and backup hosting; KVM and VMware virtual servers; managed VPS; cloud servers on Hetzner infrastructure; and dedicated servers. Its datacenter footprint spans Iran, the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, France, the United Kingdom, Poland, Singapore and the United States.

Web hosting platforms run on NVMe storage with the LiteSpeed web server and CloudLinux OS, with free SSL certificates, PHP 5.6 through 8.4, and support for Node.js, Python and Ruby. Virtual servers ship with full root access, a dedicated IPv4 address plus IPv6, snapshot support and a free choice of Linux, Windows or MikroTik images. Services carry a 99.99% uptime target, and support is available around the clock through ticketing, live chat, phone and email.
