CheapSSLWEB Launches Affordable SSL Automation Suite Ahead of 47-Day Validity Mandate

cheapsslweb.com logo📅 - CheapSSLWEB, a provider of SSL/TLS and web security solutions, has announced a new certificate automation suite designed to address the impending reduction in SSL certificate validity periods. The CA/Browser Forum has approved a phased timeline that will reduce the maximum certificate lifespan from the current 200 days to 100 days by 2027 and ultimately to 47 days by March 2029. This shift poses significant operational challenges for organizations that rely on manual renewal processes, as the frequency of renewals will increase dramatically.

According to the company, the new automation suite leverages the Automated Certificate Management Environment (ACME) protocol to enable automatic issuance, validation, and renewal of certificates. Once installed, the system handles the entire lifecycle without requiring manual intervention, eliminating the risk of expired certificates that can lead to browser warnings, broken trust chains, and website downtime. Plans start at $19.99 per year for the RapidSSL Automation Plan, with other options including Sectigo ACME SSL (CaaS) at $25.00 per year, GeoTrust Automation Plan at $79.99 per year, and wildcard automation plans starting at $139.99 per year.

The automation suite supports Domain Validated (DV), Wildcard, and SAN certificates and integrates with platforms such as cPanel, Linux environments (Nginx/Apache), Windows IIS, and multi-cloud infrastructure. It also includes automatic installation and ongoing domain control validation (DCV), which is required more frequently under the new rules. CheapSSLWEB’s Head of Product emphasized that the pricing was intentionally set low to ensure accessibility for smaller teams without dedicated security budgets. ‘Whether it’s a single site or a thousand sites, managing renewals every 47 days is not feasible,’ they said.

The move comes as the industry grapples with the implications of shorter certificate lifetimes. For years, administrators renewed certificates annually or biannually, but the upcoming changes will require renewals every six to seven weeks. CheapSSLWEB’s automation aims to turn compliance from a manual headache into a background process. Customers can lock in longer-term pricing while the automation layer handles reissuance on whatever cycle applies: 200-day, 100-day, or 47-day.

The automation suite is available now through CheapSSLWEB’s platform. The company also provides customer support via live chat, email, and technical documentation, along with hundreds of installation tutorials and troubleshooting articles. As the 47-day validity mandate approaches, tools like this may become essential for maintaining secure and uninterrupted web services.
