Study: Enterprise AI Security Risks Are Already Hitting Operations

📅 July 15, 2026 - DigiCert says 78% of enterprises have already encountered AI related security incidents or vulnerabilities, according to a May 2026 survey of 1,001 IT and cybersecurity leaders in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. The findings suggest deployment is outrunning governance, while identity, traceability, and revocation controls remain uneven across organizations and industries today at production scale.

The findings are based on an independent online survey conducted by Propeller Insights for DigiCert in May 2026.
