📅 April 8, 2026 - Anthropic is quietly testing a powerful new cybersecurity AI model, Mythos, with a tightly controlled group of partners, after the system uncovered thousands of software vulnerabilities. Access is restricted under a program called Project Glasswing, as the company navigates rising security concerns and ongoing discussions with U.S. officials over how such capabilities should be deployed.

That alone says something about where this is heading.

Anthropic is not launching Mythos. Not yet. Instead, it is placing the model in the hands of a small circle of companies and infrastructure operators - and watching closely.
