Switch Expands Las Vegas Footprint With $85M Land Acquisition

📅 January 21, 2026 - Switch has taken another step in expanding its data center footprint with the acquisition of a large parcel of land in Apex Industrial Park, an expansive but sparsely developed area in North Las Vegas. Property records show that the Las Vegas–based data center operator paid approximately $85.5 million for about 176 acres, with the transaction closing last month.

The acquisition adds to growing indications that Apex could emerge as a new hub for large-scale digital infrastructure in the region.
