📅 - Amperesand has secured $80 million in Series A funding to accelerate deployment of a new class of power infrastructure aimed squarely at AI data centers and other high-demand critical power environments. The US-Singapore company is developing a Medium Voltage Solid-State Transformer (MV SST) platform that it claims can fundamentally re-architect power delivery for hyperscale AI data centers.
The oversubscribed round is co-led by Walden Catalyst Ventures and Singapore state investor Temasek, with participation from new backers Industry Ventures, Acclimate Ventures and SG Growth Capital, alongside existing investors Xora Innovation, Material Impact, TDK Ventures and Foothill Ventures.
