atNorth Partners with Finnish Retail Giant to Reuse Data Center Heat
📅 - Nordic data center provideratNorthhas announced a new heat reuse partnership that strengthens its commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices, while also contributing to Finlands circular economy. In a collaboration with Finnish retail giant Kesko Corporation, waste heat generated at atNorths FIN02 data center in Sinimki, Espoo, will be captured and used to heat a nearby Kesko retail property.
The recovered heat is expected to cover nearly all of the heating energy required by the site, substantially reducing emissions and operating costs.
