Colt DCS, RMZ to Invest $1.7B in Indian Data Center Market via Joint Venture
📅 - Global hyperscale data center operator, Colt Data Centre Services (Colt DCS), has entered into a strategic joint venture with RMZ, one of the world's largest family-owned alternative asset owners. The partnership aims to establish advanced digital infrastructure in India's rapidly growing market. This collaboration is an equal partnership leveraging the strengths of both organizations.
The investments primary goal will be to accelerate development at the current locations in Navi Mumbai and Ambattur, Chennai, with a third site to be added later.
When all phases are completed, these data centers will have a combined capacity of about 250MW.
